NanoMist and NanoMist Hybrid System (NHS) Markets:
The applications include both small and large volume flooding fire solutions. While NanoMist water mist alone can cover some applications because of its extremely small droplet size and gas-like flow behavior, larger volume flooding and more challenging fire scenarios use NanoMist/Nitrogen hybrid system. NanoMist Hybrid System (NHS) uses variable amount of nitrogen in air as the droplet carrier gas. NHS has a short extinction time due to immediate cooling effect and the combined effects of inerting. Water mist also prevents reflash in some cases where gaseous or aerosols cannot be effective.
NanoMist and Hybrid mist can be effectively used where regular water mist cannot be used because of wetting and collateral damages. Clean agents need structural integrity and are expensive and often not acceptable in certain areas. NanoMist and hybrid systems with use of small amount of water are safe and economical.
